The Magus’s spellcasting is extremely unusual. You prepare spells from a spellbook just like a wizard, but you have at most 4 regular spell slots (not counting Focus Spells), split between the two highest-level spells you can cast. In a way, this feels similar to DnD 5e’s Warlock.An extra general feat, or 5 extra speed. +2 to reflex saves, stealth, and thievery. This is at the cost of investing a few more boosts into dexterity, which is already good since it'll boost your reflex, stealth, and thievery even more, as well as acrobatics. It’s heavily dependent on the build though. If I’m playing a summon-based wizard, I don’t need to prep 2/3 of the same summon anymore, but can now prep multiple summon spells and have a nice variety.
